    Think the sooner the better for server maintenance maybe in a cple of hours giving people a chance to log on first and realise their accounts are missing , but everyone i spoke to said they were keeping orion account, some were keeping both but only those that had been active on gemini.. Most only logged on a cple of times to check it out

One of the most challenging aspects of working in the gaming industry: seeing players argue against each other, figuring whats best for the game, and then having players complain while other players sit and be happy.

I'll discuss things with our boss again and see how things will go.  Chances are, there's going to be players who will be angry. That's all there is to it.  We're doing the best we can.

As for us making profit from the game, personally I'm a gamer and I love making fellow gamers happy. I fight to make my fellow gamers and friends happy.  Overall....it's a business.  The best games in the world make money off of their games and even so, they can never make 100% of their playerbase happy.  It's just challenging because players can never come to an agreement.  This is why when gaming companies hire people, they hire the best and most experienced ;)

update: apparently our server guy has fallen asleep (it's night time in china) so yea, maybe tomorrow or on Friday.  he needs to rest up before he goes overboard with exhaustion.  if he tries to stay awake and restart the server, his sleepiness might accidentally cause him to do stuff to the server he didn't mean to do.  health first, work second

I logged in this morning and you got my account right - dropped the Gemini account and kept the Orion account, but everything in the stock is gone - completely empty. In addition, every piece of equipment my commanders had equipped is gone - none of them have any equipment.

I had LOTS of items, equipment, accelerates, etc. stored up since I started playing.

I too have lost a player account from Orions Belt in favor of a Gemini account that I hadn't used except when the Gemini server was created.  I would very much like my Orions Belt to be restored.  I log in throuhg Kongrate and that name is lordcrazy1234, and my in game player name is lordcrazy

The Gemini player name i wish to delete in favor of "lordcrazy" is "zoinks".  Please delete "zoinks" and restore "lordcrazy"

    Also, to go with previous post, I am not talking about the account with the player name "lordcrazy2".  That is a family member with a different account but same name.  the account with the player name "lordcrazy2" is ok.   My concern is the account attached to Kongagrate "lordcrazy1234" with the player name "lordcrazy", this is the one i wish to have restored.
