Are there any plans to open another server and if so when will this happen?

If they are I don't think a server merge would be good. I mean what I heard is Gemini is doing better than Orion. Merge would might destroy this game. The only thing I want to know is if all the trade posts would be dominated by Orion players especially being attack for that stupid daily which was a bad idea to have as newbies would just quit right away unable to make gold for their new colonies due to the requirements of researching. This happened when ATeam was around attacking newbie trade posts suppressing them. That Boing guy(never logged in again, which I think he quitted too).

Most of us dont use tps to stabilise our economy it is done internally.
Tps only for planet comps and mostly released straight after. I fully agree the new dailies are a hinderance as yes easier to hit a tp guarenteed battle than look around a million and one dead colonies and meet nothing.

Yeah the general feeling on Gemini is that the merge will ruin the game there, we r currently weighing up our options, which is why we are asking if there is a new server in the pipeline.

We fully expect the Orion guys to dominate all of the competitions so u will have to ask them directly what their policy is on attacks.

Not like S7 hasnt, dont u hold both at the moment ???
and no we go for one maximum and only fight in the other if a guild we are warring looks likely to get it , but thats what war means

Except that most Orion players don't even use TPs any more because of the low pay and Orion is now mostly open nodes because of it.

It's easy to understand why that would be the feeling on Gemini when there are many people very vocally promoting that idea without knowing wtf they're talking about.

Ok, mom.

Sheesh.

Although if one were to take  into account previous statements made by the one asking the question, one would be led to assume that it was being asked in direct connection to and as a result of the pending server merge.

One might also conclude that the obvious goal for the developers would be to open as many servers as possible at some point in the future but also that the player base was being consolidated onto one server because multiple servers aren't viable at this time and the question is made moot by it's redundancy.

But what would I know?

I for one support your quest for a new server...

Especially if they name it Super Mega Supreme Noobtastic Sparkle City, put it under a big red flashing button that says "don't push this button" so that every nose picker on the internet decides to join you and then you're all either capped at level 10 and forced to fight with gunships or given everything all maxed out from the beginning. Ya know, in the name of always keeping it "fair".

I'd support that.
