let me say that we on Gemini are fearing the worst.  if you (Orion players) decided that you wanted to go all out PVP, we would not be able to defend ourselves.  MMMMxtasy, I know that you have no desire to go on a rampage, but there are hundreds of players on that server that haven't even spoken here.  From our perspective, we are forced into a great unknown (we don't know how many of you are peaceful and how many love pvp) with the knowledge that if we ever bump into anyone, we won't be able to defend ourselves.  We don't know if the person we bump into will be a friend or an enemy, all we know is that they will likely be stronger than us (not always).  while it encourages me to see you speaking out and declaring your passivity, not everyone on Orion agrees with you, and i am sure that there will be some pvp hunters seeking to take advantage of us weaker-lings.
& {+ w/ ~9 E  A# MWe are essentially forced to rely on the good will of players that we have never really met or interacted with.. t7 E& |$ ~; H# Y6 T6 B1 U) A

It all boils down to this: we fear the unknown, because regardless of whether it is good or bad, chances are it will be stronger than us.

i think the ORION players have missed a point - the gemini players have not accepted that this game is farmville.  I agree with nemesis in that the game as structured ends that way, but I've worked hard to make it as anti-farmville as we can.  not working perfectly, but there is more WAR on gemini than orion ever had.  we don't end wars in 1 day, we don't have NAPs, we don't do diplomacy as much - we learnt from ORION about what went wrong.  you know what.. it's self-regulating too...  not too many cranky characters.* B3 o. G% x/ x$ U1 S+ J

6 F# J- U) [% u$ M2 I' \% {So really what JUSTICE coming in means is that we have to change ..  we can't do the same with JUSTICE as you guys are too powerful.  you can enforce your gamestyle on the server.  however that does not mean that it is bad, or that what will develop is bad, but that we must change.  Ende has good points, so does MMMM and nemesis - won't the emotion is stripped out.  + {1 X- D4 j0 S2 y# i+ A8 e$ s

7 O& z2 d2 k2 c3 T. j) ^, a# oAs Tir has said previously, the mission of Chaos was to inject some pvp and competition into the game and thats exactly how Gemini has operated.  Its not been about everyone simply growing without incident.  Everyones pretty much crossed everyone else over here and its been fun, fair and polite.  I cant remember any trashtalking or b1tchiness resulting from the culture here either.$ L! m5 a5 _! {

8 R0 h% `, Q" Q0 ]4 ?The problem is that having such a massive superpower dropped into our server changes the entire dynamic.  We now have a guild which is impossible to retaliate against when an incident occurs. The gap between this superpower and everyone else is too great.  I foresee a game where everyones walking round on eggshells not wanting to wake the dragon...

Um actually the post you're referring to is talking about the NAPs on Orion and the ones asking for that were the ones at most risk of being killed.

But again u choose to totally ignore what the Gemini players want in this game... we all rolled on this server to escape the massive difference between top and bottom.  But we r now having that dumped on us regardelss of our views.

S: rWhat we dont like is that an Orion team is being given the Gemini realm to win even tho they have done no work no that realm.  Why should Orion players get the rights over us? And further to that if this is the shakey way that the devs organise this game then we can fully expect the same Orion players to be shipped onto the next new realm so they can dominate that one too.... awesome.
