As for our views in the matter you've immediately discounted them yourself. That's only your perception. You can't "win a realm". Fight amongst yourselves and declare a winner one day, not a one of us cares about your game until the point that it interferes with our own.

The thing that happens in all of this type game is the top players fade away from boredom as you will yourself eventually and someone else moves up the ladder to replace them.4 b/ r  {2 S+ [/ O6 H: v  W6 }1 S

8 Z; q7 W# G% M$ y% pWe all max out at the same point. Your max is the exact same as mine and I've a long ways to go to reach it yet. You only get 11 colonies, 121 leaders, 100 levels, 8 slots per leader of equipment space but long before you reach that point you're going to find that raiding other players is the least profitable path.

No one has reach max yet. Only 3 higher than me have gotten higher than me without quitting completely. So how is that "winning a server"?

Let me ask this then Endemonadia. You have a top 100 Rogue (I'm assuming that's across all servers and not just on one server). I know the kind of time someone would have to put in to level up to 85.  I know the kind of time you'd have to put in to get the best in slot equips.  Undoubtedly, you've put in an ungodly number of hours into your rogue and guild on WoW.  Would you be happy if your rogue was being deleted in the interest of Fairness? I'm not saying just start another character on another server, I'm saying deletion.  A character you've put thousands of hours into?  As if your rogue had never been?

You say that if the game needs to make changes to survive then suck it up and then complain that you're being asked to suck it up.  Surely, with a rogue you must've felt that there were a number of times when rogues had to suck it up?  When they got nerfed and other classes were made more powerful?  Or how about the reverse, when rogues got strengthened and others were nerfed?  Did you call for fairness then and ask to have everyones character deleted?+ R: c7 X5 D6 Z) A# l) m+ M6 q7 m

6 G0 ?3 A& t+ W5 E/ q+ F! lI'm not saying that Orion doesn't have an advantage over Gemini, but I am saying that I think that it's hardly insurmountable.  You just have to put in the time, effort and if you want to, money to research, build, and level.  The same as you would be doing if we weren't merging.  Unless you're not doing any of that now that you're a top player on Gemini?

3 |, h; r2 W5 v1 b3 mYet again another useless analogy... there are two servers and both have divide between top and bottom.  One has a massive gap and the other a much lower gap.  Therefore new players choose the lower gap.  Every game works like that for new players.

We are at an important juncture where everyone must make sacrifices for the game to continue and right now the only players making sacrifices r Gemini.  If the superplayers want to contribute then they should take a hit in balancing them to fit with players on Gemini.  Cos if it remains like this loads of players will leave anyway.

I had never played before, and I didn't know that there were even going to be super powers. I did my best in about the same amount of time as the players of Gemini server have had. In that time, I've reached the slot of 89th player on my server. It's not incredibly high, but it's not out of the ranking entirely. If I could reach that high in just as much time as you've had, and I could survive well enough just by playing regularly, then how is it that you are at such a disadvantage?& L2 e! `" }) |. _8 M! i& f

This is exactly what Gemini players wanted. If you looked at the poll, then you would see that Gemini players have almost (if not more than) twice the votes for your server for us to be put in your server. If your server didn't want us to join your server, then why did so many vote for us to be put in your server? I tried to keep us in our own server and have you join ours. But NOOOOOO... the Gemini players voted for the big, bad Orion players come into their server. Don't blame us for your own server's doings.

I placed all my colonies at very specific locations.  Four colony moves does not cut it,  since al of the colony placement is random.  Players should get a free colony mover for each colony  they have above the first so that they can have at least have some kind of chance to re-locate stratigically.
