Okay who's the genius that made it that minimum donations is 1% of the alliance credit?

HOW!!!  ....  are the lower level NEW members of an alliance,  supposed to make alliance donations at such a HIGH and OUTRAGEOUS  requirement?

if your alliance has such large funds, then don't donate.  just remember to set the bcred donation to zero...

ya, requiring new members, at low levels, to donate 190k  or more just does not work and does not promote the feeling of being part of the alliance

While I think the min donation is a bit silly, I can kinda see why they have it. After all when you donate you are protected currently from being booted (the Enthusiastic Heart thing). I would suggest making it free to donate any amount, then leave the protection amount as 1%. To further help newbies, allow the protection amount to cumulate over 1 week then reset. If they make 1% over the course of a week they get the boot protection.
