Next week during the schedule maintenance we are going to update our expansion Wrath of the Galaxy General. Please check the following 18 details.& K  ]( w( u' [- ?0 _0 ~  L! g

1.        Domination War Also Known as Planet Competition; ?, y7 R# P/ I
Starts at 10:00 and ends at 15:00 on every Wednesday and Saturday server time, during which the alliance which has captured the most of resource nodes on the planet (at least 1/4) and at least one space fortress will get special buff, as well as the opportunity to rename the planet after your alliance!: M2 }' F+ v5 x, r; h' w
2.        Alliance War
% Q" h# z2 ?; q, QAlliances can declare war against only one other alliance every 30mins, which means if you would like to change your declared target you have to cancel the previous one first. Meanwhile, Alliances in war will get 3 times Military XP bonus during Domination War period.. f9 B/ {0 q, w) o4 w, k- x
3.        Shield remaining time will be displayed right above colony icon on world map.6 u& p) @7 h7 c" y, R' q
4.        Remove the Shield effect gained from alliance capturing fortresses.4 J" M3 B) K$ s  _8 r9 e
5.        Remove minor and advance shield from shop.; F+ Q6 ~( I+ y% S6 l1 V% c% d
6.        Fleets action limitation. Players could only transfer and expel fleets if their colonies are under assaulting.
' \; C! s5 s( o  `, i% j8 H- z7.        New ranking system ------ Military Rank, Credit income per hour, Research, Highest commander level and Task score.
8 o8 J! \, F. W$ z8.        Honor Icon on the left side changed into Military Icon. Players can receive Military Salary in there.) }2 g3 p0 X* K, o
9.        Military Rank is applied to ship’s attributes. Higher ranking means more ship armor and damage.; q: o$ i( H3 b7 `% ^/ m' S- G1 p' A
10.        Military XP gained from arena is decreased, but honor points gained from arena is doubled..  Attacking lower Military Rank players would not receive any Military XP.

14.        New level 50 purple set added in Arena Shop. Set bonus ---- Increase military XP gained by 50%.' e0 B) C$ O  k0 [/ R

17.        Resource production rate increased in all colonies.

9. It's the only thing that make me a bit sad. Raising armor is good... but increasing damage when damages was a problem before tweeking it down... Maybe other players can give their thoughs on that.

18. I found this unecessary... High lvl ships are long to create... But with existing  "increasing ship construction speed" tech, commander stat and colony building, you can make up to 100 BC per day in one colony... I think decreasing ship construction time will make this thing less interesting.+ k! i0 d0 I; s$ {  L4 `6 u

Quick look - generally agree with Latexido. Like most of it at first glance, especially ranking rejig (if I'm understanding it correctly).1 Y/ a: n. a, ^/ L

Agree that two server times would mean more people could participate in wars

# `9 m* \' q; KAlso agree that 9 would be nicer as just Armor, though if it's a minor bonus to both guess it's okay.& D+ G& W4 m. J8 j; u  C, E* I

Finally 17 and 18 will just mean spam gets produced at an even higher rate sadly. It's not like there's a serious shortage of ships atm. Might be worth at least looking into shuttle spam and lance base issues in this case. That said there's still a lot more like here than dislike, so I look foreard to these changes

yes. the time 10:00-15:00 almost takes all areas into consideration. all the time is shown in the following.  ]2 P! ?! r! d5 P* ~6 j

and declare war outside of "Planet Competition" will not have any buff and bonus. so be carefull with the declare time and choose wisely.

It sounds like Military XP in the Arena will be lessened significantly in which case "real war" would be the true way of getting military rank up (as it should be).

Of course we'll have to see exactly how this all works in practice. It's not entirely clear if military XP can be lost too. If it can be lost, and it can even be lost during defensive battles then I wouldn't worry too much about semi-active players dominating the rankings.

inactive player stay the same with this kind of ranking, it seems true. BUT, inactive are easy prey for active player... That mean their nodes can be dismiss, decreasing their income.

Also, other active players will UP their ranks. So, they grow, but inactive stay the same... I think that will make the difference.  u: W; v* M5 x* P+ v

I agree with you Tir on economic ranking : it should take the ressource / hour in consideration. Check numbers generated by top player to do the math, and be sure that trade routes matter more if that's the design you want. But other ressources than credits should be part of it.

I just want to say my idea about Arena:# s( W" L  E" Z% u+ L

There are two kind of players, these who like to farm (let's call pve players) and these who like to do pvp.
) N3 @  _- r) bSo (1) pve n (2) pvp.
" m; q* c/ {# Z9 {( b+ z: @
$ M5 ~- F) U7 _3 y; D' z0 j8 ^: X. Z  jOn which side would u put arena? pve or pvp? 9 E( G% b. ]" o" d# z
In every game i played starting from UOL,  arena always ment to give these PVE player a joy to play some kind of easier pvp. Anyway Real pvp is outside, not inside Arena. (Cuz more adrenalinic n way more complicated n variegated)

Going back to Arena System... If u give Bonuses to Armor and Damage to ships for these players who play arena... U'r making an interference between pvp and pve worlds.2 m  b+ ]  W6 n2 X! |
You also forcing pvp players to go inside arena n "farm" points. A thingy that i dislike much.( C; ^" Z( W$ t; \0 u: x; ?. L

: |3 e; N' f: \& MSo personally i'dd like if the BONUS coming from arena rankin to armor and damage of your ships WOULD NOT BE SIGNIFICANT for the real outside pvp.  Just a little boost, but not too much.3 e# w: ]; D% i4 d  ~

<U'r making an interference between pvp and pve worlds> because farming arena (which is pve) will give bonus to the real Pvp.
