Resource Nodes.

Ore & Fuel resource nodes

- should be "limited" in supply - this saying that if you build a base next to 3 level 6 nodes eventually they should drop down to level 5,4,3,2,1,0 - initially the collection is great! etc. This will create supply and demand in some situations and also create more warfare over resource nodes mid/late game.

Food resource nodes

- should grow if they arent being farmed and decrease if they are -since food is a replenishable resource. New nodes at level 1 should pop up on planets where food nodes are avaliable  and maybe some research or facility to be able to grow food nodes in the immediate area of your base could be avaliable late in the science tree.

Again food is the back bone of any army and from what i see currently the food demands for colonies are very low other than requirements for buildings - Implementing something like this brings abilities for new colonies to grow faster or not at all. etc.

Before Beta there was a discussion about a similar system. Ours had the resource nodes shrinking if you raided them, but had a steady production if you just linked them up. Balancing the XP gain against the resource gain. Although we would definately need a systen where apon resource nodes would come back over time otherwise with the size of Ruinous's fleets, there wouldn't be anything left!

I'll raise the issue again with the devs for you.
