I liked the idea to have a common enemy per system, like pirates, aliens, Capella, whatever pop up.: o5 Z* S0 |. s$ P! p; w4 G+ g
But perhaps as part of the storyline you could put an in game enemy, like the pirate alliance that attacks the players and try to take the trade post to became the planet overlord. So, we could attack the pirates instead of other alliances.
) C7 b+ ^6 y+ \) Z5 @( d/ _# dAlso, I noticed that a lot of players sit on others for long periods, and some people just leave the game because they can't play or see the story because they are bloked.$ b, F1 }% v. N: A, ~5 d, S4 q
So, a story for each planet/faction seems a good idea, then an enemy per system, so we can have an enemy overlord to take down.; m6 r$ ~& a' H
Quests for the races sounds good, but they are like missing scients, missing ship, collect resources, famines, security or defend. But you can add a planet competition against the new pirates or aliens, perhaps increase the value for trade posts as because of the new quest to destroy trade posts, there is no reason to hold them unless for competition.

Event has already ended.  The storylines have been finalized. I'm just waiting for the operations team to approve the storylines.  They are busy doing updates and game optimization between the China server and the US server.

Steeldeath and Freezer won the event, congratulations to both.  My apologies for the delay in posting the results.  It might take a while, though, because the team is very busy with server optimization.  It's been a busy month for the operations team.  Star Supremacy did extremely well at ChinaJoy (one of the popular game conventions in China).

The delay in results is expected but the delay in closing the competition is not. So, closing the competition should be announced when it is closed. Good job though, we are not all perfect

I considered closing the thread but thought I'd leave it open so that I can update everyone on how the storylines are going.  I have to wait until the storylines are read and approved by the executives of the company (chief designer and a few other people) and then I will send it out to the media as well as post it on the website.  I don't have direct access to the website so that's also something I'm going go ask our team about.
